Kempsey Shire Council is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales and is known for genuine hospitality, its pristine beaches, sub-tropical rainforests, mountain ranges, rocky river gorges, sprawling farmland and peaceful villages.
Council are seeking to recruit an Attendant to work within and support the Water Process team and assist in the operation of water treatment facilities to relevant licences, policies and statutory requirements including the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
To be successful in this position, you should hold a Certificate II in Water Industry Operations or be in the process of obtaining; and possess recent experience in water treatment operation. You will hold a current valid NSW Drivers Licence, a Construction Induction Card, and ideally hold current Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights certificates.
It is a requirement of the position to participate in a rotational roster, including rostered weekend, public holidays and after hours on-call duties.
