Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced members of the business community to be appointed as an Industry Representative member of the Kempsey Shire Council’s Economic Development and Tourism Committee. Council is seeking to appoint six external members to its newly formed Economic Development and Tourism Committee, that will meet four times a year in Kempsey.
The Committee will act as a link between Council and key industry sectors with the aim of developing partnerships that allow for the advancement of programs and initiatives to drive economic growth and tourism.
Members of the Committee will be representative of all business interests across the Local Government Area rather than a single business interest and be able to demonstrate conceptual and innovative thinking skills.
