As the Coordinator for the Governance and Information section, you will provide leadership and supervision to the team, and deliver governance advice and management services to Elected Members and Council staff.  To be successful in this position you should have tertiary qualifications in Business/Administration or similar; claims and risk management experience; knowledge of GIPA and Records Management requirements; and an understanding of Council Meeting processes and protocols.

Key accountabilities

The tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating the delivery of claims and risk management and reporting
  • Providing information management services, incorporating GIPA requests and the management of corporate information
  • Providing support to the Elected Members, including the preparation of business papers, and Code of Conduct and Code of Meeting practice
